One of the recent challenges faced by institutions of Higher Education whether it is College or University is development and application and sustain the quality benchmark in all realms of Higher Education. For this purpose, Internal Quality Assurance Cell has been established in the college. This is working since 2010 and reconstituted according to requirement. This works for whole process of Accreditation and suggestions made by peer team and future plans. The cell strives overall enhancement of quality education in college.

PERSPECTIVE PLAN FOR 2020-25

The Institution has prepared a comprehensive perspective plan as a policy document and directive for taking all required measures in utilizing resources for fulfilling the ideals envisioned in the Mission and Vision of the college. Keeping in view the strengths, weakness opportunities and threats / challenges facing the college, this plan is designed to successfully enhance the overall standard of teaching - learning environment and at the same time transform into the best platform for the holistic development of its stakeholders in the next five years. The plan encompasses all the aspects directly / indirectly related with the academic, administrative, infrastructural and student centric activities establishing excellent standards in the field of education. 

1.    Providing adequate power back up facility and incorporating more and more energy conserving methods with focus on use of solar power. Genset to provide power back up in the campus to be installed and all departments would be provided with inverters/ UPS for unhindered working.  

 

2.     To create the most conducive and interesting teaching -learning atmosphere: More smart classrooms would be added in order to prioritise digitisation of pedagogy and make teaching- learning interesting, interactive and informative. To facilitate ICT enabled teaching, teachers would be encouraged to take up trainings in latest teaching methods that resonates with the principles of New Education Policy 2020 and is able to give adequate exposure to students in inter disciplinary methods of study.  

 

3. Reconstruction of Girl’s hostel and increasing the residential capacity in order to provide more opportunities for girls to undertake higher education.

 

4.                 Skill Development center to be established with all modern ICT facilities to provide easy access to the students to develop Communication skills, soft skills, IT Skills and training in latest software required in the Corporate sectors etc. 

 

5.                 Frequent meetings of Alumni Association and establishing more connection with the esteemed Alumni groups for student interaction and institutional development. 

 

6.             Signing MoUs with reputed industries/ University and industrial Houses for better student and faculty exchange , internships and corporate skills learning and developing entrepreneurial skills. 

 

7.                 Upgradation and expansion of library with quality text books, e-resources , N-list subscription and additional reading space for staff and the students. In future expansion on first floor would be proposed to create separate section for PG students.

 

8.             To increase Industria - academic linkages through entrepreneurship initiative, student exchange programs, internships, interaction with management leaders and industry experts.

 

9.             To establish studio for recording lectures and create E-content by the teachers.
