Job Fair skill enhancement training from 1st Feb to 3rd Feb 2024.

The Placement cell organised a pre job fair skill enhancement training from 1st Feb to 3rd Feb 2024. The students who attended the training would be allowed to participate in a job fair at Govt college for girls sec 14 Gurugram on 09 Feb 2024. Under the guidance of principal Mr. Ghanshyam Dass, the workshop was attended by over 400 students and many faculty members. The training was conducted by Ms Monika Wadhwa and Ms. Pratiksha and the open session on the first day of the training was on Effective communication, personality development and learning the art of being presentable at an interview. On the second day, students were trained on how to prepare a CV, how to crack an interview and various types of questions that can be posed in an interview. The final day of the training concluded with an introduction to how to make presentations, ppt and report writing. It also emphasised the importance of an active participation in a group discussion. For this purpose some mock group discussion were also done on different topics. Overall, the training proved to be huge success and it was well received and appreciated. Dr Poonam Kapoor- convenor of Placement Cell, also appreciated the efforts of the trainers by giving a vote of thanks.
