Transition from content to competencies. To create a credible, inclusive education system that equips students with 21st-century skills and fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a strong ethical foundation. The policy aims to break down silos between arts and sciences, academic and extracurricular activities, and vocational and academic streams. Key pillars of the policy are access, equity, quality, affordability, and accountability. NEP 2020 emphasizes the revival and promotion of ancient Indian languages, culture, and multi-disciplinary education systems, citing ancient universities like Takshashila and Nalanda as examples. On 29th November, 2025 a Capacity Building and Mentoring Workshop on NEP 2020, organised in the State of Haryana at Dronacharya campus under the patronage of Iron pillar our esteemed Principal Prof.Dr.Pushpa Antil in collaboration with HSHEC with our gracious dignitaries Prof Dr. Ajit Singh, Joint Director O/o DGHE to brief about the workshop, Vice Chancellor Gurugram University, Gurugram Prof Dr. Sanjay Kaushik,Prof Dr.Kailash Chandra Sharma Chairperson HSHEC to throw light on the background of the workshop, Prof Dr.R.S.Rathore, Director IQAC Shri Vishwakarma Skill University for Presentation cum Discussion, Prof Dr.Pawan Sharma, Vice Chancellor Central University of Haryana Mahendergarh discussed Holistic & Multidisciplinary Education and Curriculum who is also a Rapporteur By MDU Rohtak.
