Nomination of Dronacharya Govt. College Gurugram as Model Sanskriti College

Dronacharya Government College in Gurugram has been selected to be given the status of a ‘Model Sanskriti Mahavidyalaya’ (Model Cultural College). The initiative aims to develop selected colleges in various districts as role models. Among all colleges in Gurugram, only Dronacharya Government College has been found suitable based on government standards.
Expressing happiness on this achievement, the Principal of Dronacharya Government College, Dr. Pushpa Atil, told the press that she is proud of the college being designated as a "Model Sanskriti College."
It is worth mentioning that the Haryana Government had earlier chosen colleges from various districts to be developed as model institutions. These colleges were evaluated against specific government criteria, and Dronacharya Government College met these benchmarks successfully.
According to Dr. Pushpa Atil, the college offers facilities such as smart classrooms, innovation labs, smart library, and an incubation center, fulfilling all basic requirements. Facilities like "smart boards," and ICT resources have been established to promote skill-based education and effective networking. This initiative will not only increase the college’s reputation but will also inspire other educational institutions. This marks the beginning of a significant journey, and support from everyone is essential to continue in this direction.
